Below you will find a few of the frequently asked questions.
How are payments and time managed?
Depending on the project, you will be billed by either a project based rate or an hourly rate. Both of these are managed through an online billing and invoicing system.
You will be invoiced through email from our online. Depending on your project type, you will have the ability to login and view all of the details of your account with Red Word Host. This includes time worked on project tasks.
You will also be emailed a bi-weekly report detailing the time worked on your projects, for projects that are tracked by time.
Some projects and services require monthly automated billing. This is discussed during the set-up consultation.
How will my automated payments be managed?
If your project requires automated billing or you have requested a payment plan, you will be sent a link to the Red Word Host Online Store, where you will select the product and the payment that you find most desirable. You will enter your billing information and your payment will be processed online.
For security purposes, we do not require you to provide us with your billing information. It is all processed though our systems.
How are packages and retainer payments handled?
Upon completing your selection of services and signing the agreement, you will be required to select a duration for your package and/or retainer. Packages and retainers run on a 3, 6, 9, or 12 month basis. When this is selected, you will then be sent a link, where you can enter your payment information and be automatically debited for that period. If you choose to extend your initial service agreement after that period, we are able to continue to roll the payment and agreement over to the next payment period.
The price of the complete website is more that I can afford right now. Do you have any other options?
As a matter of fact, we do. Here at Red Word Host, we consider the fact that everyone is human with families and a budget. For that reason, each website package has three different payment options that are presented to you at the end of our initial assessment. This arrangement is based on both your needs and your budget. However, when a payment plan is established, automated payments are required.
What type of payment is accepted?
Although we use our platforms as our primary payment system, we accept Paypal, Visa, American Express, Master Card, and ACH Bank Payments. Each of these payment types can be used through the portal provided. If your project requires automated payment, you will enter your billing information in the Red Word Host online store.
Are you able to complete rush jobs?
Although we prefer jobs scheduled in advance, we do understand that there are times where rush jobs are necessary. When this is the case, rush jobs are able to be completed, upon discussion of what is required. However there is a 25% surcharge of the normal quoted price for the project when requested to be completed in less than 24 hours notice. There is also a 50% surcharge for evenings, weekends, and U.S Holidays, when projects are requested to be completed during these times.

Not all projects require a proposal, but for those that do, a Proposal Intent Fee is required to be paid prior to initiating a proposal and contracting a project. This fee, if the proposal is accepted, will be subtracted from the total project amount. However, if the project is not accepted, this fee is non-refundable.
How much is the fee?
The fee ranges from $50-$1,250, depending on the size of the project.
How will I know if my project requires a Proposal Intent Fee?
If your project will require a proposal, this fee will be discussed with you prior to beginning the proposal stage.
Do the website packages include a header?
Yes. We include a header with every website package. However, logo design is a different service offered through Red Word Host, LLC and is not available with all Website Packages.
Do the website packages include hosting and domain registration?
Depending on the package that you purchase, hosting and domain registration are offered. These services must be renewed through Red Word Host, yearly or are included with the monthly packages, in order to maintain the current website. If you have your own hosting, domain registration will be your responsibility. If websites built using Red Word Host’s hosting are not renewed, the domain will expire and the website will be suspended. If you have a payment plan, other renewal options may apply to you, but will be explained to you in your estimate.
